Welcome to the module “Recruiting and mobilising your team around inclusive governance”!

In this module, we will look at what inclusive governance is, what it brings to the organisation and its target audience, and above all how to implement it in your organisation.

Teaching objectives :

  • Understand the fundamental principles of inclusive governance
  • Identify areas for improvement within your organisation in terms of inclusiveness
  • Develop skills in inclusive recruitment
  • Adopt tools to encourage participation and collaboration: capacity-building/team-building workshops, etc.

About Megan Evans, trainer

I am an independent facilitator, qualified trainer, coach, project manager and consultant with over 30 years’ experience. I support charities, educational institutions, the public sector and communities to help them meet new challenges, deliver outcomes and better understand and take onboard the thoughts and opinions of stakeholders. I use a solutions focused, co-productive approach to help build group consensus and understanding.

I have designed and facilitated numerous visioning and participatory strategic planning sessions, public consultations and team events for educational institutions through to small local community groups. 

I have considerable experience of organisational issues and have supported many charities with their strategic plans, governance reviews, mergers, trustee recruitment and feasibility studies. I have a special interest in supporting disadvantaged groups especially women to develop their skills and knowledge.
